BOOKINGS & CANCELLATION POLICY

You agree that any information given to us can be used for the booking of your tour such as names and email addresses and contact numbers these will be used by us and drivers and will not be passed on to any 3rd parties

credit card information is never requested by us we will send a secure link from Stripe Sum up or Tide Banking we will never request the details of your credit card if payment can not be taking at the time of booking we will request you to send it to our bank directly details will be given and banks from USA and other countries will add additional charges on top of these

How do you pay for your tours

Once all details are confirmed we will send a link for the payment of your tour or transfer or you may book it via the website for available tours

When Booking Your Tour or Transfer

You must provide us with the following details

You Pick Up Point - Accommodation or Port

Your Drop Off Point

A Contact Number

How Many Passengers are Travelling

If this information is not provided 2 weeks before your booking then your tour or transfer maybe cancelled without further notice and the cancellation fee will apply

Associated Companies and Drivers with Highland Discovery Tours

Once my bookings are fully I have a handpicked selection of drivers who know my tours and will take you on a enjoyable tour ( other drivers may not always be associated with Highland Discovery Tours )

A Private tour is only you and us on the day so no overbooking of seats - we won't cancel last minute unless of bad weather or we don't have all the details required

You will be asked to pay for the tour or transfer in full

If you need to cancel this needs to be done 14 days prior to the date of the tour or transfer

for a refund minus the non refundable deposit Booking Fee £150 for 1 to 4 passengers or £250 for 5 to 7 passengers this may also be referred to as the cancellation fee

If you cancel after the 14 day deadline you will not receive any refund

If you make your booking within the 14 day cancellation period you will have 48 hours to cancel the booking and it will be minus the non refundable deposit of £150 for 1 to 4 passengers or £250 for 5 to 7 passengers after 48 hours no refund will be given

If you cancel your date within the cancellation period but would like to rebook for another date with in 1 year of your original booking we will alter the date free of charge but the new booking will now not be refunded if cancelled. If you cancel your date prior to the 14 day cancellation policy then wish to rebook it you will be entitled to a refund minus the booking / cancellation fee as per the original booking. Last minute cancellations can cause us not to be able to refill the dates with tours as we would of turned many bookings away for that date but will be harder to fill closer to the time.

If the chosen date is already booked we will offer dates that are available as close to the chosen date if the date can not be accepted then it falls under the cancellation policy of 14 days prior.

If you refuse the tour on the day no refund will be given

If you take the tour and have a complaint about our services then this must be emailed to us with in 48 hours of the tour finishing to enable us to refund you for any difficulties we may of caused during your time with us.

The Highland Discovery "Back-to-Ship" Guarantee

If for any reason we cause undue distress by not getting you back to the boat on time and this is caused directly by Highland Discovery Tours or Associated Drivers you will be give a full refund immediately

Cancellation of tours from Invergordon, Inverness, Fort William, Fort Augustus, Portree

You will be asked to pay for the tour or transfer in full

If you need to cancel this needs to be done 14 days prior to the date of the tour or transfer

for a refund minus the non refundable deposit Booking Fee £150 for up to 4 passengers or £250 for a minibus up to 7 passengers

If you cancel after the 14 day deadline you will not receive any refund

The payment will be taking in full this includes the amount for the non refundable deposit. The Deposit will NOT BE REFUNDABLE this is paid to the booked driver as he may not get another booking for that day

If you do not show at your collection point between 8.30 - 9am or pre arranged time

This will be a no show tour and not refundable

If you refuse the tour on the day no refund will be given

Invergordon and Portree Ports

If the cruise ships do not dock we will refund you the price of the tour minus our standard booking fee Charge of £150 for up to 4 passengers and £250 for a minibus 5 to 7 passengers . If the Cruise ship changes it's itinerary and doesn't arrive in port and you notify us at least 14 days before your tour you will be fully refunded.

Transfers

Must be paid in full

Our 14 day cancellation policy also applies for a refund minus the booking fee £150 for up to 4 passengers or £250 for a minibus up to 7 passengers
